What the test class shows—and what it does not
Mechanical classification makes seal behaviour comparable under defined tests such as tensile, shear, bending and impact. These tests show resistance under controlled laboratory conditions. They do not by themselves model every field risk, including door-hardware weakness, incorrect application, corrosion, cutting tools or long-term environmental exposure.
Applying a high-security seal to a weak or damaged door handle does not improve security. Likewise, applying the correct product to the wrong locking point, failing to fully engage pin and body or not recording the serial number reduces the operational value of compliance.
