How Do GPS-Tracked Seals Work?

Separate location tracking from seal events
Seeing a device on a map does not prove that its physical seal is still intact. Likewise, a seal sensor reporting an opening event does not guarantee that location data is current or accurate. A good design tracks location, door/seal status, battery and communications health as separate telemetry fields.
GNSS signals can degrade indoors, in terminals, under metal shielding or with poor antenna placement. Cellular communications may also disappear outside network coverage. The system should never interpret 'no data' as 'no problem'; design for last-known position, last-contact time and offline event buffering.

How does a GPS seal work?

Does a GPS seal replace RFID?
